A stay with a host family includes accommodation for the duration of the program as well as full meals.

Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of US$50 must be paid a minimum of two weeks prior to the program start date. The money can be sent for example via Western Union or by traveler’s cheque. The balance of the program fees is payable in cash to Star Kampuchea’s accounting department upon arrival.

In detail, the program fees cover the following activities:

Administration and Cambodian volunteer support

Rent and maintenance of office space

Telephone, fax, e-mail, website

Local Advertisement and printing materials

Accounting and legal services

Food and accommodation for volunteers (who stay with host families)

Support Coordinator and volunteer field expenses, including local transport, and management

Coordination with local partners

Government tax

Non-Refundable Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of $50 US dollars is required to secure your volunteer placement. This deposit must be paid a minimum of two weeks prior to the program start date, however STAR Kampuchea will arrange to make date or program changes as needed whenever possible.

Payment Instructions

The $50 deposit is payable by travelers cheque to STAR Kampuchea. The balance of the program fees is payable in cash to Star Kampuchea’s accounting department upon arrival.
