program costs we have to require a program fee according to the volunteer’s length of stay.

A stay with a host family includes accommodation for the duration of the program as well as full meals.

Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of 50 USD is required to secure your volunteer placement. This
deposit must be paid a minimum of two weeks prior to the program start date, however STAR Kampuchea will arrange to make date
or program changes as needed whenever possible. The money can be sent for example via Western Union or by traveler’s
cheque. The balance of the program fees is payable in cash to Star Kampuchea’s accounting department upon arrival.

Visa
|
| How to get a visa and where to extend it |
 On arrival in Phnom Penh International Airport visitors of
almost all nationalities will receive a visa. For this you will need 2 passport photos and US$ 20 for a tourist visa or US$
25 for a business visa. Both are valid for 30 days. In case you are planning to extend your stay, you should think about
buying a business visa that can be extended officially for a long period. A tourist visa on the other hand can be extended
only once and only for one month. We will assist you to extend your visa. Please see the approximate prices for the extension by a travel agent below: |
